• TDS WASTE REMOVAL SERVICE
Your Homeowners Association has assumed responsibility for waste removal and recycling for the neighborhood. We are doing this because it saves money for everyone as well as reducing traffic, noise, and the number of days that trash bins line the beautiful streets of RROTC. We have contracted with Texas Disposal Service (TDS) to provide weekly pick-ups.Please note the following:
1) If you are already a TDS customer, the only change is that you should no longer be billed by the company as of the end of September. You will retain your waste and recycle bins from TDS and pick-up will be on Tuesdays, as before.
2) If you are an IESI (tel 282-3508) or DisposeAll (tel 462-1960) customer, you must cancel your respective service as of the week of Sept 22-26 and request they pick up their receptacles from your property. Pay only for service through that week and tell them your neighborhood has contracted with TDS for service.
3) TDS will drop off new bins (one each waste and recycling) to the curbsides of non-existing TDS customers on Thursday, Sept 25. If you're not already a customer, you will receive these before IESI picks up your bins, so you should not be without bins.
4) The TDS/RROTC service will begin Tuesday, Sept 30 - have your TDS receptacles at curbside that morning for pick-up.
5) Don't forget that - going forward - pick-up will always be on Fridays.
6) If you desire additional services [basic service is one waste can and one recycle bin picked-up at curbside] such as extra receptacles or house-side pick-up, you must arrange this with TDS (tel 421-1300) and you will be billed individually by the company - not the HOA - for these additional services.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our HOA manager Adriane Simon at Beck & Co., 474-1551.

• HOA-PROVIDED WASTE REMOVAL SERVICE
The Board of Directors has approved using TDS as the waste removal service provider for the entire Rob Roy on the Creek neighborhood. Below is a list of a few reasons why the Board negotiated waste removal services for the Association:1) The Association can reduce the cost of the service by negotiating based on bulk service;
2) The garbage cans would only be placed out for one service provider, therefore keeping the neighborhood looking better;
3) One service provider will minimize wear and tear on the streets;
4) Having only one service provider will reduce noise and enhance safety in the neighborhood.
The Association will be billed for the service and your annual homeowner dues will increase to cover the cost. The assessments will increase to $500.00 per household in 2008. The 2008 annual assessment will be due on August 1, 2008.
The community provided waste removal service will begin September 30, 2008. Each owner will need to cancel their current contract as of September 30, 2008 and request any reimbursement for prepaid waste removal services.
IESI customers: IESI will send a truck to pick up all their company's containers following the last scheduled waste removal on Friday, September 26, 2008. TDS will drop off new containers on September 25.
Please note: Owners with double lots will only be billed for the waste removal service increase per house. The annual assessment for the second lot will remain $250.00.
• The service will include once-a-week trash pick up and recycling. The trash will be picked up on Tuesdays beginning September 30, 2008.
• If you would like additional pick ups, multiple receptacles, etc. - or any other services - you will need to contact TDS at 512-421-1300 to make arrangements. Any additional services that you request will be billed directly to you.
